Personal Territory: 50 Things

Personal Territory Assignment:  Our assignment this week is to choose a territory, get to know this territory, and then in the end give someone a tour of this territory.

For my territory I picked the dreaded Green Monster.  For those of you unfamiliar with this fiend, the Green Monster is a 10 tiered stair case that climbs up a hill from the football field to the Miller building on campus.  It is a rather large hill and awfully unpleasant to climb.  Personally, I hate this stair case.  As a swimmer, I find myself making the long trek up and down this darn thing daily to get to the pool.  My most recent run in with the monster was yesterday morning at 6:30am.  One of my lovely team mates decided not to show up for practice without notice.  Therefore the entire team had to run up the stair and to his dorm to retrieve him……..

I thought I would share my love of stairs with someone else by giving them a tour.  To prepare myself for this tour I spent some quality time with the Green Monster and wrote down 50 things about the stairs and their surroundings.

My territory starts at the bottom of the Green Monster and then goes to the top.
